I’m renting one bedroom in a spacious two-story brick Tudor house just west of downtown Denver a half block south of Sloan’s Lake Park. The rent is $800/month (plus an $800 refundable deposit) and includes Comcast high-speed internet and all utilities (electric, gas, water, trash). The room will be available for occupancy beginning May 1.

The bedroom is 11’x 12’ and shares a large full bath with one other roommate. There are hardwood floors throughout the main level, a wood-burning fireplace, as well as newer kitchen appliances, and a free washer and dryer on site. There is a great flagstone front patio and a nice backyard. The house is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood just 7 blocks from the Light Rail West line and only a few minutes by car to I-25, I-70, and downtown. Sloan’s Lake Park has great bike/walking paths, tennis and basketball courts, and is just south of the Highlands.

I will occupy the second story of the house with my partner, which is pretty much self-contained. The kitchen would be shared by the four of us, but you would share the downstairs living room and dining room with only one other person. The living area itself is mostly furnished but there is still space for other items depending on what you have. The bedroom is not furnished.

About you: friendly, courteous, clean, mature, good with paying bills on time, willing to assist with housework and yardwork, and not a big-time partier into hard drugs. A credit check and background check will be conducted for applicants.

About us: a 50-something gay male and two 40-something gay males. All of us are professionally employed and laid-back and drama-free. We like to entertain a small number of guests for various events throughout the year. There is a cat on both levels although they do not mingle with one another.
