GORGEOUS ANTIQUE SPANISH HAND-CARVED AND PAINTED ARMOIRE

About the item
An outstanding antique Spanish paint-decorated and profusely carved kas or armoire. Each detail is incredibly well-made.

On the front door, it shows a full-size Saint Michael. On top of Saint Michael’s arch, it shows two carved and painted Cherubs looking down at the Archangel.

On each side of the door, it has a Corinthian column, carved and painted. On each side, we see a vine going up and down symbolizing the ascension or downfall of our spirit, depending on where is the frontal symbol in your life. There is a trinity of flowers at the center of the serpentine vine.

Four strong pieces of solid wood support this piece, but they are positioned in a way that we get the impression of this piece being suspended in the air.

All the hinges and handles are original and hand-made with strong iron.
